Couples sound healing at home, with tuning forks

A session for two in your own home, combining an Infinity D headphone programme with hands-on tuning fork work. You each undress to your own comfort and are draped with a towel, and disposable underwear is provided. Priced for the pair, not per person.

At home XLR8 Wellness: Sekhem & Hekau

About the journey

A session for two, side by side, in your own home. Each of you gets your own set of Infinity D headphones running the same programme at the same level, so nobody is hearing a different room to the other. Tuning fork work is done over both of you. You each undress to your own comfort and are draped with a towel, and disposable underwear is provided. It is bought as one booking for the pair rather than per person. A complementary therapy, not medical care.

What the price covers

  • For two people, side by side, in your own home
  • Infinity D headphone programme, a set each
  • Tuning fork work, each of you draped with a towel
  • Undress to your own comfort. Disposable underwear is provided
  • Somewhere to change, and a room with space for two to lie down
  • About 75 minutes
  • A complementary therapy, not medical treatment

The forks, and what each one is for

Weighted forks are placed on the body and you feel them. Unweighted forks are swept through the air above you and you mostly hear them.

128 Hz

Weighted

Placed directly on muscle and along the spine. This is the one you feel most: a low, blunt hum that carries into the tissue for eight or ten seconds before it fades.

136.1 Hz

Weighted, the Om fork

Used at the chest, the forehead and the soles of the feet. Slightly higher and softer than the 128, and used to settle rather than to work.

256 & 512 Hz

Unweighted

Swept about six inches above the body rather than touching it, at the opening and again when you turn over. This is the part people describe as the room going quiet.

What you are both asked before anything starts

Said out loud to both of you, together, before anything begins. Neither of you has to agree to the same things as the other.

You can say yes to different things. One of you can have the fork work and the other just the headphones, and that is a completely normal way to do it. Either of you can stop at any point without explaining why.

What we need from you

A room with space for two

Two people lying side by side with room to walk around both. We bring two mats, the bolsters, the towels and the oil.

Somewhere to change

You each undress to your own comfort and are draped throughout. Disposable underwear is provided.

About ninety minutes in the diary

The session itself is seventy-five. The rest is setting up and packing away.

One booking, not two

It is priced for the pair. You are not billed per person.
